Better information, a bigger picture
Daily Picks is an internal project at Lab115. Every morning it fetches the last 24 hours from several dozen high-quality sources, scores each piece, and writes a Chinese and an English summary of everything that clears the bar.
The problem it is built for is not that there is too little to read. It is that there is far too much and very little of it is worth the time. So the first thing this site does is throw work away: most of what gets fetched never reaches a page.
Every page here is our summary of somebody else's article — not the original, and not a reprint. Each one links back to the source and names its author and publisher in the page's structured data.
